TWO NEW DATES ADDED: Thursday, May 19th & Friday, May 20th!

Event Summary:
You and 14 other guests will check in to the haunted, historic Reynolds Mansion (located in Bellefonte, Pa - just outside State College, Pa). The mansion will be
locked down, and together with members of PRS, you will have the entire night to investigate the property. Start off the night with a meet-and-greet dinner (included), followed by hands-on workshops and discussions. As the night approaches, all participants will help set up for the investigation, by going through historical documents, setting up technical surveillance and more. The investigation kicks off with a séance, followed by a Dead Time investigation. Afterward, the experience continues as you check in to your haunted room to spend the night. In the morning, everyone will gather once more over breakfast (included) to share their experiences and say their goodbyes.

Reynolds Mansion Ghost Hunt 1:
PRS was first introduced to the Reynolds Mansion by a member of the PRS General Society, Greg
Scheirer, in 2005. After talking with the previous owners of the mansion, PRS performed their own
ghost hunt one evening inside the Victorian bed and breakfast. They were told that the mansion had originally been built in 1885 by Major William Frederick Reynolds who was responsible for establishing the bank firm, W.F. Reynolds and Company. Major Reynolds never married nor had any heirs to will his estate to, so when he died it passed on to his cousin Colonel W. Frederick Reynolds. Colonel Reynolds, also a great entrepreneur, established the Pennsylvania Match Company which eventually went out of business due to competition from cigarette lighter manufacturers. Colonel Reynolds had a wife, Louisa, who never conceived any children and had become bound to her bed and a wheelchair. William had a cherub mural painted on the ceiling of her room so she could always look up and see the babies she had been denied. Today, guests claim to hear the sound of a wheelchair rolling around the “Cherub Room.”

After PRS received the historical information on the house they were given a walk through showing
them where the owners had received the most reports of activity. This included the Cherub Room, the
Nittany Room, and the downstairs sitting area referred to as "The Snuggery." They then set up
surveillance throughout the house, broke up into two groups and proceeded to perform EVP sessions
throughout the house. Due to the unpredictable nature of hauntings, PRS's brief 4 hour period was
unable to yield evidence. PRS hopes to change that by bringing better equipment, a detailed history,
and you to the Reynolds Mansion which still receives reports of sightings and visitations from their
guests.

After the Colonel and his wife passed away in 1941, the house has been purchased by a series of
owners, even having served as a church, until 1994 where it was finally opened as a B & B. The current
owners of the mansion, Tricia and Mike Andriaccio, recount a tale told to them by a Penn State
Professor. The Professor's son was vacationing at the mansion only to wake to find a woman at the foot
of the bed, watching his sleeping, pregnant wife with a smile. The Professor's daughter in law went on
to have twins but they don't know whether this encounter was related.
